For public-record requests to the Sheriff's Office, use the official FOIA form and describe the booking sheet, arrest report, custody dates, booking photograph, or case number being requested. Illinois FOIA, 5 ILCS 140, is the open-records law behind that request path, and 5 ILCS 140/2.15 addresses arrest information and photographs when available. The form states that the office has five business days to respond. It also lists no charge for the first 50 paper pages, 15 cents per page after that, $25 per electronic media item for video or audio, and delivery by email, postal mail, or lobby pickup.
